Sorry for the lack of match reports last few weeks I have just not had a chance to do them.
Here is a short update last Saturday the first team played host to high flying Rayners Lane after 4 defeats
on the bounce this looked like it would be a tough fixture. The game didn't work out that way and Lambourn created and wasted
lts of chances. Pedder & Best fired Lambourn to 2-1 victory but with two late red cards for Guy & Pedder took the shine off a good win.

This Saturday we made the trip to Chinnor and were greeted by the worst pitch that we have seen for some time, Local dog owners seem to making full use of the playing surface though as young keeper Nathan Kingston had to have his penalty area cleared before the game. This was one of the worst games of football I have watched in many years as Lambourn struggled with the surface & Chinnor played the long ball game. Lambourn had two penalty appeals waved away in the first half and Griffin wasted a great chance in the second half. Chinnor's best chance fell to Braun but keeper Kingston made a fantastic reflex save. The game finished 0-0 and manager Clark added it was impossible to play any football on that surface im just happy we got a point.
